Tree Frog in rose
These pictures were taken late last year of a Tree Frog that had made his home in our Iceburg Rose bush. Some were taken with natural lighting. Camera is a Canon OES 450D using 18-55 mm lens.

Stunning all of them!
ReplyDeleteThe middle one (3rd one) is my favourite!! also the very last one...they are lighter so contrast between the white rose and the frog is more distinct.

Personally, I like 5803... I like that I can see water droplets on the rose buds... the focal point of the image is clearly the frog, but there is enough going on around the subject to hold my attention for longer than if it were a tight crop. Experiment a bit with levels in Photoshop to optimise your exposures... also, "depth of field" is a major influence on creativity - to maximize this option, you must take control of your camera and shoot manually and familiarise yourself with the "rule of thirds" for composition (if you haven't already). Just my 5 cents worth mate! Nice material though.
